Who we are

Seek2Seek LLC is a Delaware (USA) limited liability company. We run the creation portal, operate the VRChat world Grabby Jigsaw, and are the seller of record for the puzzles sold there through VRChat's Creator Economy. Email: technocrat@seek2seek.com.

The Publishing Agreement comes first

The Publishing Agreement is the contract you sign before your first upload. It governs licensing and payment: the licence you grant us, your 67% revenue share, statements, taxes, and how works are retired or removed. These Terms govern the use of the site and the world catalog. If the two conflict, the Agreement wins.

Who can use the portal

• You must be at least 18 and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
• You must not be a resident of a country or territory embargoed by the United States (currently Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions), and you must not be on a US sanctions list.
• One account per person.
• You sign in with an email link, so you are responsible for the email account you use. Tell us at once if it is compromised.

Acceptable use

• Upload only work you may license under the Agreement and that meets the Content Guidelines.
• No unlawful, infringing or sexual (NSFW) content.
• Do not circumvent review, the store limits, the upload limits or the beacon and statistics system.
• No automated scraping of the portal or of the catalog feed; the VRChat world is the only intended automated reader of the feed.
• Do not try to access other artists' data or accounts.

Review and store limits

Every upload is reviewed before it is published. We may decline, suspend or remove any work as described in §11 of the Agreement and in the Content Guidelines.

Each collection may have a limited number of priced and free jigsaws in the store at a time — currently 3 priced and 25 free. We may raise the priced limit at our discretion for collections whose puzzles sell well. There is no entitlement to a raise, and the limits may change.

Statistics and sales figures

Play, completion and download counts come from unauthenticated beacons sent by the world. They are approximate (players on the mirrored catalog are not counted) and can be manipulated by third parties. Sales figures come from VRChat's purchase records. Payments are based only on VRChat's purchase records, as described in the Agreement.

What is public

The puzzle image and the data listed in the Privacy Policy are published in the catalog feed and its mirror, which anyone can read. Your credit line appears in the VRChat store listing and in the world.

VRChat

We are not affiliated with VRChat Inc. Purchases in the world are made through VRChat's Creator Economy under VRChat's terms, and refunds are handled by VRChat. VRChat controls Credits, payouts, fees and its platform rules, and may change them at any time.

Payments

We pay you as set out in the Agreement: monthly, by PayPal (USD) or, if you choose it, in whole months of VRChat Plus gifted to your verified VRChat account. We may need tax documentation before we can pay you, and we withhold amounts where the law requires it. A change to your payout destination takes effect after a short security hold and is confirmed by email.

Our intellectual property

The portal, the world, the puzzle system and our marks belong to us; you may not copy them. "Grabby Jigsaw" and "Seek2Seek" are our names. Your artwork stays yours — see §3 of the Agreement.

Disclaimers and limits on liability

The portal and the world are provided "as is". We do not guarantee that they will be available, that any puzzle will sell, or that VRChat will continue its Creator Economy.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for claims under these Terms is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amounts payable to you under the Agreement in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, and nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for claims that arise from content you upload in breach of these Terms or the Agreement.

Suspension and closing your account

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. You can close your account by emailing us; any balance you are owed remains payable as set out in the Agreement. Ending the Agreement itself follows its §12 (thirty days' written notice).

Copyright complaints

How to report an infringement, and what happens next, is on the Copyright and takedown page. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We post the new version here with its date and email material changes to artists. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new version; significant changes are also presented for acceptance when you next sign in.

Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and disputes go to the courts named in the Agreement (§20, Governing Law and Venue — which also preserves the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country). Questions: technocrat@seek2seek.com.
